SMS messaging terms

1. Hail account notifications (messages from Hail to you)

Hail account holders may optionally provide a mobile number and opt in to SMS account notifications — billing alerts, low-balance warnings, security notices, and service/incident updates. Consent is collected through an unchecked checkbox at sign-up, labeled:

• Opting in is optional and not a condition of purchasing or using Hail.
• Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
• Reply STOP to opt out at any time; reply HELP for help, or contact hi@hail.so.
• Mobile phone numbers and SMS opt-in consent are not shared with or sold to any third party or affiliate for their marketing or promotional purposes. They are shared only with our SMS delivery provider (Twilio) as necessary to deliver the messages.

2. Messages sent through Hail by products built on it

Hail also sends and receives SMS on behalf of the products that integrate it. By providing your number to one of those products you consent to receive recurring automated text messages related to the service you interact with. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.

Opting out

Reply STOP (or STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, QUIT) to any message to opt out. You will be added to a platform-wide do-not-contact list and will receive no further messages except a single confirmation. Reply START (or YES, UNSTOP) to resubscribe.
